Episode II: Jórun – “Eg sakni babba hvønn dag” (‘I miss daddy every day’)
‘At first I didn’t feel like talking to anyone about what happened. I was gone and cold. I wasn’t I… but now I’ve found myself again and want to talk about my dad and what happened.’
– Jórun Múller Jacobsen, episode II
In this part of our podcast series we hear about what it can feel like to loose a parent as a teenager. Jórun Múller Jacobsen suddenly lost her father in a work accident in 2016. How did she experience loosing her father, and how has she learnt to carry on living with her grief?
In the podcast we also focus on what grief is, and how differently we humans react when we loose someone. In addition, we visit Berin and talk to Oddvør Poulsen, manager, about what Berin is, and what children and young people gain from Berin when they come here.
