What do you do in the groups?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our groups are lead by professionals with relevant training and experience in grief. Two group leaders take part in sessions and they facilitate and support the group. We work towards building trust and a safe space in the group in order to make it easier for participants to put their thoughts into words. It is entirely up to you to decide what and how much you want to share or express in the group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When and where are group sessions?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Group sessions take place at Berin\u2019s cosy premises in Niels Finsens g\u00f8ta in T\u00f3rshavn. Parent groups start when there are enough registered participants. Groups meet every other week for two hours a total of 6 times with group facilitators. In consultation with the parents, it is then decided whether the group should continue as a shelf-help group for an additional period. When a course of group sessions concludes, participants have a conversation with the group facilitators to reflect on the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How much does it cost to take part in a group?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The cost of participation in group sessions is DKK 300, in addition to a membership fee. However, the participation fee must never be an obstacle to participating in a group. If that is the case, we will find a solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do I\/we sign up?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can sign up for a group as an individual or couple by calling or writing to Berin or you can ask someone else to contact Berin for you. You will then be invited to an introductory conversation, possibly with your parents\/next of kin and based on that conversation you can decide whether you would like to take part in what we offer or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
